Red Rocks amphitheater is spectacular. Soaring natural rock walls surround the seating area. The lights of Denver sparkle behind the stage, and the sound is incredible. The walk up can be a challenge, especially when the show starts and you are still in the parking lot. It is quite the hike up to where you enter, and even further up to get to row 30, where we sat. We have a marvelous view however. All the bands played well. Kansas sounded good, but not as polished as the other two. All the bands played mostly their old hits, but Styx had a medley of old tunes that was quite fun. Foreigner was the headliner, but IMO, Styx stole the show...
